Hard to believe, but it's already been three years since Rookie Slash began its adventure in Geneva. Since day one, our mission has remained the same: to support young refugees and migrants in their integration through fun, inclusive and rewarding sporting activities, on a board or in the mountains!
This annual report is much more than just a summary of what we've done: it's a reflection on who we are, what we stand for, and where we're going. You'll find an introduction to Rookie Slash and our team, an overview of our activities and their frequency, and an assessment of our social impact. We also share what we've learned and our prospects for the years ahead.

Some numbers:
In 2024, we organized 90 activities These include weekly courses, monthly visits to a refugee shelter and nature outings. Among the highlights of the year, our five-days winter camp and summer camp, dedicated to snowboarding, skiing, climbing and hiking.
We recorded 810 total participations, with about 30% of girls among participants, a figure we are determined to increase.
The results of our annual assessment are also reflected in our social impact report:
- 100% of young people questioned say they have gained confidence thanks to their participation.
- 89% improved their level of French, simplement en participant à nos sessions
- 80% claim to have meets new friends et se sentir plus connecté·e à la communauté
It's for these results that we do this work.

None of this would be possible without the incredible commitment of our coaches, the generosity of our donors, and the energy of our young people. We're proud of what we've achieved. But we know we can always go further.
With 2025 just around the corner, we remain determined to strengthen and expand our programs. As long as we are useful, and as long as we have the means, Rookie Slash will continue to be a space where every young person can feel supported, valued and at home in Switzerland.
