Highlights of the Season:

The development of activities in the canton of Vaud allowed the two groups to meet during certain bi-weekly "Out-of-Town" sessions. At the indoor skatepark La Fièvre in Lausanne or the Empire Skate Building in Montreux, we were able to exchange experiences and share precious moments for both the youth and the coaches. When will there be an indoor skatepark in Geneva to welcome the Rookies? In any case, we are motivated!

In the category of unforgettable moments, the 2026 snowboard and ski camp in Anzère, which set a record with the highest number of participants: 25 young people, 4 coaches, and 3 educators, whom we thank from the bottom of our hearts for their exemplary work and commitment to the youth and the project.

Finally, the youth leadership program also expanded, with new tracks such as "Slash With Your Friends" and "Special Talent," enabling participants to take on more active roles within the organization.

The Year 2025 in Numbers:

A total of 171 activity sessions in Geneva and the canton of Vaud, all free for participants.
We recorded 1,304 attendances, representing 299 unique participants, with nearly 30% being female, demonstrating both strong retention and continuous growth.
According to surveys conducted with the youth, 55% now practice sports outside of sessions, 86% feel they are progressing in French, and 85% state that the activities help them build self-confidence.

Impact Feedback

The feedback regarding impact is very encouraging: participants testify to enhanced self-confidence, strong social relationships, and improved French language skills, all within a climate of trust towards the instructors and the learning environment. However, developing autonomy outside of structured sessions remains a priority, particularly to facilitate access to equipment, practice spaces, and peer exchanges.

For 2026, Rookie Slash will consolidate its existing programs, strengthen youth leadership pathways, and extend its activities to Lausanne, placing quality, sustainability, and long-term impact at the heart of its strategy. With the support of our partners, we continue to build an inclusive community through sport, providing young people with the tools to build connections, thrive, and find their place in Switzerland!
